Since I dont have a shuffle I cant test this, but I have a cool idea that might work,

Just like the altoids tin for the zen micro,

I think a Starbucks mint Gum tin would fit a shuffle perfectly. Can anyone try it out? If I had a shuffle, Id have done this long time ago,

Heres a pic of the starbucks mint gum tin,
Looks like it was made for the ipd shuffle!
Abit of foam or flet, and whammy.. instant shuffle fad LOL.
Good luck modders!

if this idea works, with the amount of shuffles out there, Id think this mint tin mod will spread very quickly

Could that Even fit a 9V? I saw on Headwize someone made a cMoy variation that was the size of a thumbprint... but you still have the problem of that big battery.

EDIT:

In any case it's too tall for that tin, if that's the one I think it is.

Nope...the Starbucks tin, the Altoid chewing gum tin, and the Eclipse mint tin are all too short to fit the Shuffle. Additionally, the Starbucks chewing gum tin is too narrow as well. All are close, but not quite large enough - even with the end cap removed on my 1 GB player.

The search continues.......

I think it only uses 4.5... but then again, that would be 3 AAAs.
