I got a promotional code for 4 free itunes songs and was wondering what i should download. My music interests are mainly rock, jazz, easy listening, pop, dance & RnB.

If you had to pick 4 killer songs to get from itunes what would they be?

Whatever you end up getting try to get the songs from iTunes plus that way they are DRM free and 256 kbps instead of 128.

I remember when they launched 256 itunes files, they had a Pink Floyd album available. It was either The Wall, or Wish You Were Here. Get the singles off of that, if you dont already have the albums.

Dont buy whatever is currently popular in Rock music; lets show Apple and the record companies that people still like good music, even if its old. Help keep it around a while longer.

I have the albums already, essential listening for any headfier. I agree with you, a lot of current tracks & albums are just threw together. Most of the albums i buy are only because i like 1 or 2 tracks on them.

Just a warning - after that you will have no choice but to get the rest of Murmur.

Soul Coughing - Is Chicago, Is Not Chicago

Same as REM comment except replace Murmur with Ruby Vroom.

Amon Tobin - One Day In My Garden

Same as.... ah you get the point.

Downloded 'Shaking Through', it was even a itunes plus one so thats another bonus. I found the other 2 a bit strange
