What happened to my car today evening.

It happened at restaurant parking lot.
I saw this right after I got out of the restaurant.

Look how close it is.

Damn, Mustang!

I was little pissed. I inspected my car, and there is no detactable demage even if it is that close. I could have called the driver out, and give him a good BS though, I didn't. I was on hurry and I knew this kind of guy is an a-hole.
Think about the fact that this guy was not even bother moving his car back little bit to hide what he did. Bad attitude with bad driving.
I myself is sort of short tempered, so I know I will be pissed if the guy acts arrogant. That's not good at all. I took few pictures using my cell phone, and drove back to my home. Reported this to police as a reckless driving. I honestly believe that this guy should not be allowed to drive.

I will see how police handle this situation... which I do not expect a lot though.

Don't you hate something like that happens?
What would you do when you're in my shoes?

Keys in his tailpipe and rubbing a potato all over his hood is the only solution!

If the damage was real bad and the driver was "unresponsive" to paying for it; I would've taken down his license plate and passed it around. That car would've either disappeared or been torn to bits by the end of the week.

How do you figure that's reckless driving? The driver probably just overestimated the space s/he had left when he pulled in, then was too lazy to reverse a bit once s/he bumped into your car. Not a great parker, for sure, but not a reckless driver either.

I would just shake my head and forget about it if that happened to me. No harm, no foul.

For a transgression this minor, I think that's in the appropriate order.

Nah, nothings worse than licking a jolly rancher and sticking the wet end on the wind shield and letting it harden

It may not be a reckless driving in strict sense, but parking is a part of driving and the way he parked was reckless. Overestimation and laziness that could possibly piss off or harm others is what we called reckless, isn't it? He did not harm physically at this time, but he may do next time to others.

I was offenced by his way of parking. So... no harm done to my car, but harm done to my mood. Note that I did not make a fight out of this, I didn't stuff mashed pottato into its keyhole or anything. Nothing done by me and I turned arround. I just hate those guys who have bad attitude with lazy ass that does not know his behavior can be bothersome.

I do not think what he have done is a crime. But I hope someone let him know about his bad parking habit, before he make actual crash on other cars out there.

Let's be realistic here. The driver of that Mustang really has no legal or moral obligation to ensure that you are in a good mood. It's sure nice if they do, but failing to keep you happy doesn't necessarily make them a reckless driver, particularly given your admittedly short temper here. Of course, it does make them a jerk.

Now, that driver is legally obligated to avoid damaging or putting at risk both your property and yourself. And, lo, they did successfully fulfill that obligation, if only just barely.

You're coming down awfully hard on this individual for making, as far as you know, a single parking gaffe. Just take a step back - this isn't something worth getting so worked up over.

I live by the rules of pulp fiction.

You don't **** with a mans automobile.

What he did wasn't right...so you have to choices...blow up the car. or shoot him.

Agreed, though he'd probably be better off shooting him first, dumping the body in the car, then lighting that baby up. Best to cover all your bases.

Trippytiger.

Please note the point here is not what's legal or what's obligation.
I am the one who's been surprised by the way the driver parked. And as you said, I stepped back and turned arround even if I wasn't feel right. I did exactly what marvin said. I don't see the reason why, there's nothing for you to be upset about. I am cool with what happened at parking lot and it's over.

You guys come up with creative way to revenge(?).
But I am telling you guys that I do not seek revenge, and won't take those method. not even a booger idea. I do not think "someone made me pissed" alone can be a base of such action.

And skeeder, I don't think I am living at pulp fiction world. Don't come close to me... unless you're going to take me to Jessica Alba. hehe.
