I really hate this program. I hate how it randomly consumes 99% cpu and then doesn't work and I have to kill it with task manager. I hate how long it takes to load, it hate it continually foisting unnecessary upgrades upon me, I hate the way it doesn't scroll with my laptop trackpad. How I hate that I have no choice but to use it.

Acrobat Reader, or actual Acrobat? Acrobat 6 is quite possibly the worst program from Adobe I've ever used, while I actually haven't had any problems with Acrobat Reader.

I was using Acrobat 6.02 since it was realed, no complains to the date.....keep it updated...

go to this site http://www.tnk-bootblock.co.uk/ and try "Adobe Reader Speed-Up." It quickens the loading time by disabling rarely used plugins.

Acrobat Reader, I should say. And yeah, Firefox too - maybe my hatred is aimed in the wrong direction? Don't make me hate Firefox though, it's so nice!

Ive never been a big fan of Acrobat Reader myself. i've always felt it ran slow and consumed alot of system resourses.

This is actually a known bug. Look it up on Firefox's website =)
