Finally, I got em. Unfortunately right after they came I had to go to work, but I brough em with me and hooked them up to a CD player here so I could break em in with some Drum'n'Bass(Aphrodite). I will post more on them when I get home about 8:30PM EST. I have listened to them a coupla times and they sound magnificent. I can't wait to strap em on for a few hours tonight and listen to them. Thanks for the recommendation Lou and Bangraman.

Glad you like 'em, Mag.............congratulations.
Pretty amazing for $99, huh? What do you think of the comfort level?

Ah... The Cult begins!

Even though I'm a recommender, my personal situation (work from home or from exotic very quiet locations, other than that it's terrible train racket or short-haul planes) isn't optimal for the D66. As much as I love it's sound, I find myself always cursing it's openness or closedness!

Comfort level is very high from my first impressions, my ears fit perfectly into those little ear cups. I haven't gotten to test them for any prolonged wear but I certianly will soon enough.

Believe me Lou, I've got plans for a super-mini. And maybe some of those silver braid interconnects. Also probabaly an I-pod or this new nueros audio player. Damn, I wish I could go home and listen to them some more.

MDR-D77, maybe the D55 too, but you won't find 'em anywhere but on ebay occasionly. So the best bet if you're getting an Eggo is audiocubes for US$89

My D22s are Made in Japan, and are good quality. I'd assume the D66 are also made in Japan.

I'll add just one thing, which is avoid being swung towards the lower price of the D22 Eggos. They have some very odd sonics, although they still manage to sound 'non-enclosed'. Hold out for the D66, and you'll find it a very rewarding experience, that is as long as you aren't near anything too noisy...

Other than the dreaded "sweaty ear syndrome" I have been using mine for about a month now and don't have any thing negative to say about them.

They don't quite rival my SR-60's, but they do very well for a portable phone on my Ipod.

I ordered some dreaded Shure E2c's today and am going to give them a try on the airplane.

Sounds like another happy member of Team Eggo. I guess you could say you like them so much you'd say, "Leggo my Eggo.!"

my eggos shipped today from audiocubes. I didn't like the slightly dark presentation of the PX100s (sold them). Everyone seems to like the D66 so it's a safe bet.
