i got Arcade Fire's Funeral on vinyl today and...

Is the vinyl cut from a different master than the CD? I wouldn't have thought so.

I dont think so but a lot of people like the vinyl much better then the cd, maybe it was remastered?

i honestly don't understand why this band is so praised. i admit, their live show looks kinda fun, but the music is nothing special (to me anyway). i don't know...i think it's just cause the singer sounds like the guy from the counting crows.

i bought the limited edition cd version of this, for my brother's birthday. i like the package it comes in. also, the little flip books are neat.

The vocals are not the strong suit of Arcade Fire... IMHO They excel in their arrangements and layering of sounds and instruments, as well as their lyrics.
