Amazon has them for $450 and it takes 1-4 weeks for shipping, and Best Buy has them for $485 shipped + taxed, and that's too much.. there's no store near me where I can buy them. What? same with the IE8's, impossible..

When juggling large amounts of cash like prices of IE80 I would rather fork out extra to an authorised seller. Otherwise you could be always wondering if they're fake, (not cool) Spend what you have too, wait 4 weeks if you have too through amazon. Just not worth the headaches.

Goodluck.

BB might be a better option, since you can just have them sent to a near by store. They are the same price as Amazon, but might arrive quicker.

My problem with best buy is the $28 in tax.. lol.

I was thinking of best buy though because they offer 18 month financing on these headphones.. $27/month for 18 months, no interest. Seems like a better option than paying for them upfront anyways.

If you are in the US, try Razordog Deals. They're an authorized dealer.

Currently both Razordog and JR are out of stock on IE80's. When they had, you could get the IE80's around $350.

Since Sennheiser is releasing a new and totally different IEM's IE800, I am wondering whether the IE80's will be discontinued from production.

I just bought a pair from Razordog for $370.. much better than the $482 I was about to spend at best buy. Hopefully they live up to the hype!
