I am Looking for a Good Sounding Flash Mp3 Player That Supports FLAC?

Hi...I currently have a Cowon Iaudio U3 mp3 player that i love alot. The sound is outstanding. I am looking for a replacement for my U3 & I would like some suggestions!

I only need FLAC support.

What i am looking for:
EXCELLENT SOUND QUALITY #1 #1 #1
FLAC Lossless Codec Support #1 #1
good battery life
(also user battery replacement...not necessary)
At least 2 Gigabyte or more

Stuff I don't need:
Voice Recorder
Picture viewer
FM/Am radio
Video

I don't have a price range so include anything you want.
Thank You All!

Maybe iAudio7 will satisfy you, but i think you know about that. Why do you want to replace your U3?

I think Cowon iAudio7 or D2 is the only choice.

SQ-wise I would choose Teclast T39 over D2, M6 and Trekstor Vibez. Iaudio 7 - I haven't heard but basing on impressions of my friend from another mp3-related forum, I wouldn't care either. Another good sounding is RAmos RM850. I beta-tested it and if they improve some menu lag when playing back FLAC and high bitrate wma, then it's the way to go. Also, it's upload rate is terrible ATM.
EDIT: neither RAmos nor Teclast is good if you use lots of EQ and other "improvers". I don't.

Since you like the Cowon U3 you already own and that's what your used to I'd stay with the Cowon brand...you won't be satisfied with anything else. The Cowons not only have great sound quality but they have quality all the way around and that includes incredible build quality. They are true audiophile equipment. Nothing else compares. I own both the D2 and the U3 and I love them both.

I'd go with the D2 or i7.

I keep seeing references to the D2 and iAudio 7. I just ordered a Cowon A3. Will the A3 sound quality be on par with the D2 and iAudio ? Now you guys have me worried.

@jamess71: no need to worry! the A2 is considered one of the top sounding portable media players ever, so A3 should be every bit as good. we're just naming Cowon's flash players, as that's what the OP asked for.

I figure my choices would come down to the D2 or iAudio 7!

Okay which has the better sound quality out of the two?

Also will the D2 fit in this Pelican 1030 case?

Here it is:

Go for the D2, it's an awesome player, and goes above and beyond your listed criteria. Stay away from Meizu, as they're much, MUCH slower with their firmware updates.
