I am in search for the best 50 $ price range, preferably with detachable cords(minimum priority). My basic need is decent sound clarity along with good bass for music pleasure. Also I want them to be comfortable for around 2 to 3 hours. 
I would prefer durability over portability. Please help me with some ideas.

Monoprice 8323 has detachable cables. You can attach the iLuv iPod Remote to the cables, and your detachable cables. It's the cheapest option here.
 
The Superlux HD668b also has detachable cables, you can do the same with the top.
 
If you really are in it for the bass, try the Sony MDR XB500. They are double-sided wired so there's basically no chance of it being a detachable wire headphone. Panasonic RP-HTF600-S has decent bass as well.
