(I tried amplifier, but I don't think I would need that, so please, something else if possible)

If you wanna stick with headphones ... depends quite on what sound signature you are looking for and in what price range ... lots of stuff out there ... Stax 009, Focal Utopia, Abyss, Susvara are a few of the possible contenders if price is not much of an issue
