Anytime! I miss the CE-5. Where are you able to still get one?

-Collin-

Well, I tried the CE-5 with half a dozen tips and wasn’t able to get a good fit with my ears so it looks like these will be going up for sale as soon as my seller privileges get turned on. I had high hopes for these but I guess not all ears are created equally. 😂

Sorry, should have posted earlier as I am one of the lucky ones with a Hyla TE-5B. Love these guys' excellent bass and very detailed mids & highs. I found if you cable roll you can improve the mids as I found stock cable made mids kind of recessed. Adding the right cable and tips make TE-5B a good all-rounder but I have to admit I find its true strength to be Jazz

We are now in 2023 and I am still enjoying TE-5B. The power of bass and sub-bass with detail, separation and space, clean treble is something that makes me addicted to these.
But I wonder if there is an IEM out there that can beat it with just as much deep bass?

I have the Evo and it's not the most comfortable for me and I can't wear it very long, but I agree that EE might be worth trying given the sound signature you're describing.

Have you considered Oriolus Szalayi? Kind of same family as Hyla I believe and great bass... Probably not the same clean treble though, but incredible slam and huge soundstage.

EVo will be cleaner sounding than Szalayi but it's nearly 3x the price, and I enjoy the Szalay much more.

Intersting! Thank you, I'll keep Oriolus Szalayi in mind, I have a kinera nanna 2.0 pro, I really didn't like it, the bass is miserable, it has a smooth and courteous signature comfortable for long listening.
