I am coning from the opposite direction compared to Collin, the CE-5 (from Zeppelin & Co ) to get ready for the Legend X (Black Friday 2018?).
Enjoying them a lot with the iBasso DX200/AMP8 - PW Audio Saladin+ (8 wire). Love the soundstage.
I have the Hyla CE-5 and was wondering how I could prevent dust/earwax from entering the drivers. I clean my ears every day but even so I'm really afraid of anything getting inside. My right-side unit has a small dust particle inside (stuck to the inside of the housing in the very center of the flat part) of it that I can't get out any more. I've been looking for eartips that have filters on them but can only find comply tips which don't work for me. I've since stopped using them outside and rarely take them out even though I prefer them to my full-size headphones.

I think most places are sold out? My local distributor has just the store demo available - apparently he’s received a LOT of offers to buy it haha (I’m going to be in HK in a couple weeks though... hoping I don’t impulse buy a CE-5 there).
Has anyone else heard about the two new IEMs from Hyla? I heard they were based on the other two prototypes (made along with the CE-5), but nothing concrete yet.
Not the person you responded to, but I heard that it’s a triple hybrid design (like the CE-5). My local distributor said that they’re based off the other two prototypes Hyla made when first designing the CE-5 (I guess they made three and went with one?).

More pictures of the upcoming Hyla models! Apparently they will be officially introduced at an audio show in Japan next month.
Driver configuration is the same as the CE-5, but apparently these are the “low” and “high” centric models, and the CE-5 was the mid-centric one? I thought the mids were the CE-5’s weakest point, but I guess we’ll see...

I'm sure they sound fantastic but the build, from the shell to the internal wiring looks pure..... "Chi-fi" to me (not the Pwaudio cable though, you know which model is that?)
