I've officially put my $$$ down on a pre-order for the Hugo TT2.
I was at the Arizona Head-Fi meet this last weekend and talked with @TSAVAlan about pricing. On Monday he followed up with a phone call and I placed a deposit. Now it's just a waiting game.

What’s the latest on TT2 pricing in the US? The last numbers I saw here, if accurate, have priced me out of getting a TT2.
Call The Source AV, they’re quoting $5,500
Pretty much in line with my expectations

The M-Scaler will set you back $6k

Which is very strange since in the UK the HMS lists for 500 pounds sterling less than the TT2.

From the Bluebird website:

“The price for Hugo TT 2 and Etude is expected to be approximately $6,000 US and the Hugo M Scaler somewhere around $5,000. Based on our information at this time, these products are all expected to ship sometime between October and December 2018.”

Ok, hold it! I'm converting using today's rate and TT 2 straight excluding VAT is $4,379.35 let me look up import tax and duty... That's a $1,620.65 difference or 27% of cost!!!
