Negative/Cons about the TT2.

Drivers suck!....

Had anybody experienced slow(tempo) playback from spotiy?....I have never until TT2. I have to restart Spotify

...I also experienced my TT2 went completely off(lights off) but kept playing. Volume knob(led) normally always on?

Edit: about the psu hotplug. I noticed the psu kept charge for a long time after unplug from wall. Maybe this is the reason to plug it out from TT2 first. Because of the slow discharge from 15V to 0

.
Read the manual.

Read the manual.
I only have DIM0 DIM1. Weird!

Also nothing about turning LED(volume knob)off?

EDIT: It was always in USB mode. Not DAC, which turns the led of

The best advice: listen to Pro iCan first. IMHO unless you need some particular Pro iCan features stick to TT2 alone, you will save a lot of money especially if you consider Pro iCan Signature edition price.
I found that the Pro iCan wasn't very resolving. I wouldn't recommend it with a TT2. I use an Audio-gd Master 10 speaker amp with the Susvaras. Since it has a volume control, you don't need a resistor box with it as you might with a power amp. The result is outstanding.

Just experienced a little idiosyncrasy on my tt2. I am using it as a amp and decided to put it on high gain setting. After playing music for a few minutes, the volume increases on its own. This occurred for blue tooth play as well.

Situation returned to normal when I reverted back to low gain setting.

Wonder if anyone can share his/her take on this situation.

I just wanted to check with the experience users of TT2/XLR + SUSVARA.

I will order an adapter for the susvara(forza audioworks)

Do I need to change from usb mode to amp mode when using the XLR out of TT2?

USB Mode is not a thing, USB is the input selection. Yes, when you're driving the headphones from the rear, you will definitely want to use AMP mode so you can also control the volume. If you don't have any headphones plugged into the front, you will get sound out of the rear XLRs. If you're in DAC mode, it will not let you adjust volume - so make sure to use AMP mode.

USB mode is an input. XLR is an output. As far as I know, they act independently. At least that is my experience and I use a lot of input and output combinations.

Right now, I use both AMP and DAC modes for XLR and RCA output. I use XLR to either my Orr or Mjolnir Carbon amps. I use RCA to my tube amp.

I prefer AMP mode with my Rockwell tube amp because it has a great pre-amp and I can control volume with it more effectively than with the Pot on my tube amp.

I prefer using DAC mode with my Mjolnir Carbon as it is a tremendous electrostatic amp and a good volume pot.

For inputs, I use Dual BNC from my Mscaler. If I didn't have an mscaler, I would connect via Coax from my Bluesound Node 2i streamer. I will use USB when I want to EQ by connecting the TT2 to my laptop.

Ok I normally dont do anything when its in USB. I just plug the SE headphone in. I know its the input/USB.

But AMP mode made me think that I could use TT2 as an amp after a DAC. But it makes sense if DAC is fixed volume. Definitly not wanna use that 😂😅😅

What is the experience with the TT2 beyond the 3 year warranty period? Is it reliable long term?
The TT1s seem quite sturdy and a bargain for the second-hand price. Despite the built in battery.
I presume, the TT2 with the super capacitors should be even more time resistant...

Im gonna order an adapter for the XLR output for TT2 and susvara.

Do you guys know a good site where I can configure a quality headphone cable and the adapter?

(The Adapter is all females, and this seems to be hard to cutomize)

What are you using in place of the TT2?
I am using now the Ifi iCAN Pro Signature and a Musetec DA-5 DAC. Could be seen by some as a downgrade but I enjoy it immensely.

Nice, I always say let your ears lead the way. I want to hear the Pro iCan Signature. It’s a really great unit.
