I sure hope it is the new Mscaler!
I thought Rob said the Choral M-Scaler was coming at the earliest the end of 2022.

I think it’s the Mojo 2 too

Whoa! They've arrived! Just trying to choose an appropriate rack to house these with my Headphones and DAP's etc and I will set them up. Looking forward to a weekend of blissful listening 🎶

I've managed to get a cabinet from that famous Swedish flat pack warehouse and have assembled and fixed castors so I can place it to my listening preference. Holes drilled at the back to allow for cables and ventilation. I've moved the TT2 and MScaler with some of my gear over and will cable up shortly. Hope you all like what I've done. Any improvements or recommendations appreciated.

It looks eerily similar to the picture of mojo 2 over in the mojo thread.

I can’t wait to see it properly, I would like to buy one but I don’t think my hearing will be able to detect any difference between mojo and mojo 2.

@OrenT, were you using the Farad Super3 15v to power an M Scaler? And if so how did it perform?

Hi @bpcans
Actually yes. Sold the M Scaler though. Never really A/B'd the Farad vs stock power. Just hooked it up from day 1 with the HMS and was happy to have it in the chain based on all the recommendations in the forums. Was also very happy in general with the sound that came out of my Utopias.
If i were to go back to the HMS again (thinking about it) i would probably return to using the Farad.

Sorry i can't really give any good ol' audiophile feedback on it. Hundreds of others have though!

@OrenT, thanks for the feedback. I’ve perused the other threads. I just wanted your impressions sir. Much appreciated

If it would be Choral then those buttons would be really big. It is Mojo2.
Okay you’re right. The new photo posted today looks like a Mojo2.

Haha, I wonder if we can lure @Rob Watts to comment on a hypothetical mobile product before the end of the month. Like what he’s learnt since mojo 1 about optimization of WTA algorithm, importance of WTA2 algorithms, addressing thermal limits of mobile products, choice of elements and noise shapers for pulse array DAC, use of second order analog noise shaper and DC servo for headphone amps, etc. But then I wouldn’t want him to get into trouble with Chord electronics

Does the MScaler power down after use? The TT2 has an On/Off button but the MS doesn’t. I’ve left the MS over night and the OP SR light stays on in a White colour. Not bothered about being permanently on but cannot see a way to power down. Thanks all….🍻

Yep that’s in stby. And you will note that after a while it will cool down considerably.
