A quality properly shielded cable is all you need. My issue with the ones supplied was the bnc connector not mating well with the dac and any movement of the cable causing drop outs. This was fixed when I went to 1.5' Viper from Monoprice for $10 Cad. The Moon dual bnc to my H2 did not have this problem but it's connectors are very well made. We used to make lots of bnc jumper cable for our remote I/O networks and the connector and especially the care in crimping was everything.

MScaler is awesome
TT2 is awesome
MScaler and TT2 with wave stream cables is even more awesomer.

that’s science. Case closed.

You forgot the superlative:

MScaler and DAVE with Wave cable and Opto DX is the damn most awesomest! :wink:

I believe the accepted audiophile lingo is "Epic Sauce!" :wink:

(and don't get me started on mechanical isolation :wink:

For everyone in the US, best wishes for a reflective and joyful Thanksgiving with family and friends. For everyone outside the US, apologies as we all stress out about having to listen to Uncle Mel rant about politics over a four hour meal and football (I promise, Uncle Ray does not rant about RFI at these family gatherings :wink:

Anyone tried using an UpTone EtherRegen up stream from their M Scaler?
I keep reading the descriptions of how it sounds and it reminds me of attributes that the M scaler brings, including that the music seems a little slower.

I will have mine next month but surely someone here has tried it?

@kelly200269

How do you like the Beyerdynamic DT1990 what kind of sound signature ...

My local dealer is offering me a big discount on the Abyss TC's very tempting...
The 1990’s are great cans IMO.
They are notoriously a bit ‘bright’ in the upper registers, but have a very balanced sound signature otherwise. I actually prefer them to my T1.2’s for genres such as rock & pop.

I saw a review of the on youtube and the reviewer seemed to like them. I'm just not overly familiar with them. I have the hd800, utopia, clear, and he1000 expensive name brands... most likely I'll add the TC... just preparing for the financial pain...
