The original cable for my Philips HP890 died out after a stupid accident. Someone tripped on the cord, yanking it from my Gametheater box, and while I see no physical damage, they simply do not work. (I had posted about this way back in Feb.)
I ended up buying just a simple replacement from Radioshack. The side that connects to the 'phones is a 2.5 jack, while the other end is a 3.5. However, the problem is that the side that connects to the phones. The original cable has two notches on the 2.5 side, so that when you put it into the phones it really almost locks into place (the phones have 2 spots for the notches to fit right into). The replacement I got from the Ratshack does not have those notches, so if I move my head even a little bit, it can slide out a tad, distorting the sound.
Does anyone know where I can get either an exact replacement cable, or something that is very similar? I live in the States. Thank you.
