How will I get my Harry Potter book? I won't; which is exactly the same way I (didn't) get all the others.

In all honesty, I'll probably wait until a (some) friend(s) finds out that I haven't read it, at which point I'll get multiple copies for free.

Yup; except I'm waiting for the DVD. I could buy a new headphone amp for the price of taking the whole bunch to the theater and then buying them drinks and snacks too.

Here in Venezuela the English version will cost I believe the equivalent of about US$35-$40, so I'm not buying it here. Will be preordering it from Amazon. Will get it about two weeks after it's shipped.

Honest question - is the supply high enough to meet the demand for the book just to allow me to walk into a barnes and noble or borders and buy it off the shelf? Or do I need to do some crazy ritual preorder thing in order to get it>?

The supply is always significantly greater than the demand. When I got the 6th book at Wal-Mart, there was a very large stand with at least 50 books still left on it when I go there.

All seven books in one binding will will be a huge book, or it will have very small typography. Or both. Probably not very comfortable to read.

I think the illustrations by Mary Grandpré are gorgeous. Only wish more of her illustrations had been included in the books.

I never was a harry potter fan, but I reserved the book at Amazon for my wife... with my credit card. They supposed to send me that book when it comes out. Damn books are getting thicker and thicker. What the hell the author try to do, writing a full series of dictionary?
