One week left guys, so how will you get yours?
I've ordered mine from Amazon. Funny thing is Amazon always tried to get me to pay shipping fee which is useless btw since I get 2 of my previous HP book from amazon w/ free shipping delivered on the release day.

Easy: saunter into chapters and yell out Accio Deathly Hallows!

Actually, I preordered it on Amazon

I guess I have it pretty easy. Almost 20 stores in Fairbanks that sell books and all of them always have copies of Harry Potter left over after the first day. We actually get people from Seattle and Vancouver fly up here just to pick up copies cause they are sold out down there.

I will walk into Wal-Mart, pick up a copy off of the stand, and go through the self-checkout. I did this for the last two books. People who wait in line for hours at bookstores are fools.

not to mention they subject themselves to the aforementioned drive-bys of spoiler nature.

My Wife has reserved hers at Wal-Mart and all she has to do is walk in any time after mid-nite and pick it up!

I'm picking up my copy at the nearest Borders store--hey, the party-like atmosphere of the book release has to be experienced at least once. I'll spend my time waiting listening to my iPod nano 4 GB with my ER-6i Ety's.

By the way, a couple of things:

1) Wal-Mart midnight sales will ONLY occur at any Wal-Mart store that operates 24 hours a day (e.g., most Supercenters). The two Supercenters in my area are planning release parties this coming Friday.

2) I've heard strong rumors that Fry's Electronics stores got a hand on a HUGE allotment of books and will sell them at circa US$12.95 per copy on the morning of July 21, 2007 just to get people into the store to buy other things at Fry's.
