How to tell if DT880 is 2005 version?

I just receieved my DT880's and they sound excellent even out of the box. How can I be sure that these are the latest version? Can anyone with the older DT880's tell me if the headband had a removable padding and if DT880 or Beyerdynamic is stamped on the earpiece? Unfortunetely there is no item number on the box I received. Thanks.

The older versions of Beyers look very "80s" while the newer versions looks... well, more modern.
