Guys, I bought a pair of DT880 premium 250ohm last week. I noticed that except for a mark on the box, there is no where on the headphone to tell you it's the 250ohm version. When I plug it into my amp, it has the same volume as I use the same out put power to drive my Hifiman HE400, which is easy to drive. I am wondering if the seller switched the 32 ohm version into the 250 ohm box? Or are there any things that are marked on the other two versions to let you distinguish them?

Look on the jack at the end of the cable, it might be printed there, it might be raised black letter on the black part of the jack.
This is a DT990 Premium 600-Ohm jack, but the DT880 Premium 250-Ohm might be marked in the same spot.

no, I don't see anything there. Actually I've checked it before I posted this question. I searched if other people had the same question. It turned out that I saw some jacks marked with 600 ohm. However, some said that Beryerdynamic didn't do that mark for the latest DT880, and I haven't seen any jacks with 250 ohm or 32 ohm on it. Since there are a couple of editions for DT880 in term of the year they were released, I really don't know what they have changed for the latest edition.

I cannot post any photos right now. The website doesnt allow me to do that. If u could give me another way for contact, I'd happy to send u photos

Might be easier just to contact Beyerdynamic's tech support, they should know where to look.
