I am back to burning CD-Samplers every now and then. Therefore I need my volume adjustments to work. I use iVolume, and most of the time it does a good job. But. When burning a CD from iTunes 4.8 the volume settings are being ignored and I end up with a CD of mixed volume. Totally defies the purpose. When I select "adapt volume" in iTunes "burn" options I end up with the mushy garbage that is iTunes' build-in volume adjustment instead of the cristal clear results iVolume delivers. How do I get iTunes to use my volume settings when burning?

Good question...I'm not sure it's possible.

I know that when I have this problem, I burn the CD tracks to WAV files, and make the adjustment using Roxio Sound Editor. However, to do that, you need to make new WAV files of all your CD's.

Good luck...
