I'm trying to repair my Mad Dogs / Fostex TRP50s. The left connector between the suspension and the cup has snapped. I've bought a replacement "1412000501 Fostex Headphones Slider Holder" part, but now I can't figure out how to separate the cup from the suspension (first image). Does anyone know how to remove this part to replace it and separate the cup from the suspension?

I've fully removed the driver enclosure from the inside, but I'm greeted with a covered surface with no screw holes (second image). I've tried gently prying off the top with a knife but it won't budge.

Edit: There are 2 images attached to this post, but I can't see them when viewing the post myself, did they go through?
