How to remove HD595 pads?

I want to clean the pads and the headphones.. so i need to remove the pads.. only one time i managed to remove them i don't remember how.. i afraid to break them.. so please!!

There will be resistance so it can feel like you might break them but you won't.



Ha ha ha... If they are like the HD580s, they attached by friction/press fit on a plastic ring on the inside/center of the pads... They sorta click loose & click back on.

Yup, just put 2 fingers under the pad and pull firmly but gently.

its weird, you'll feel like you cracked something, but the pads just have a plastic ring

its weird how these pads are thinner than the hd580/600/650 pads, and yet i find my hd555 soo much more comfortable

I wondered this as well with my new pair (not that I am in need of cleaning at the moment). Given the responses it seems straight forward enough given the proper force/care. The only problem I would see is trying to get them back on...Im sure that will be fun :p

Yea, I thought the same thing when I had my 595s.
