I listen to streaming radio on the internet. However, I cannot always be there when the shows are on. Is there a easy way to pre-program to record radio show on the internet so I can listen to them later?

StreamRipper might be useful. Or perhaps one of the apps on this page.

If you use a Mac, try Audio Hijack, or the aforementioned StreamRipper.

Trying the stationripper. Can't seem to tune to the station I want to listen to. Looks like it's tailored to song ripping only. I actually only listen to talk radio, I want to record talk show.

Can anyone help please?

Check the Audio Hijack web site, looks like it's exactly what I need. The problem is, I only have PCs. Does anyone know of a PC equivalent?

The equivalent PC program is called "Total Recorder." It's commercial but worth the money.

I tried to uninstall stationripper, apparently the uninstall program only remove the shortcuts, the program directory and the executable are still sitting there. I wonder if it's safe just to delete the program directory. Anyone knows?

If you can't get StationRipper to work with the official Air America stream, here are some mirrors to try before abandoning StreamRipper altogether:
