Title says the question. I have a pair of ATH-M30 that have a flattened out and creased headband. I'm okay with it as they are years old but I'd also like to get a desk stand for them. What material is best to prevent further flattening? Silicon, wood, etc.

Currently I am looking at the Anchor desk stand (3M adhesive based) and the Brainwavz stands.

Also how should they be adjusted to fit on my head to prevent them from creasing any further?

I have a new pair of headphones that will be used sporadically (few times a year) so adjustment tips to keep them looking nice as well are appreciated.

Thank you.

Your not going to find a guide for that. It's a little hard to overcome gravity. Your talking about $40 headphones the company is not going to spend a lot on the headband as then that wouldn't cost that anymore but would have to be at a higher price. I would think a stand would just make it worse as they would have pressure on them all the time. As for the other headphones that you are only going to use a few times a year keep them in the box they came in. Please don't take this the wrong way but you are being a bit crazy on how your headphones look. They are a tool of sorts getting music to your ears and all tools show signs of wear from use. The is no magic remedy .
