I can't seem to find the right position for my Grado SR-80's,how are they supposed to be positioned for best SQ?

They are supraural, so pretty much only way they fit is that the driver aims directly to your earcanal and pads inner side rest on your ears, and outer rims of the pad go around your ears. For bigger ears the fit will never be optimal in comfort sense.

Hehe...now i feel dumb...but,the thing is ,when i position it, a little bit down,and the foam sits on the top of the ear,i get more bass,so that is the reason for my question.

Position them in a way that sounds best to you. There isnt a one ultimate way that fits all ear shapes.

I recommend getting the Sennheiser 414 pads for your SR80s. I got mine today, and the comfort is amazing.

haha don't feel bad. people asked this before you but yeah, wear it however you want. I got the SR60 with normal pads (not bowls) so the position is more forgiving in my case.

Im with the OP on phone position. I like them forward and slightly low, so that the edge of the bowl rest on the edge of my ear and the front almost off the ear.

No, it's the same guy. just two pictures of him. He's wearing it correctly in the picture to the right. The picture on the left shows the same guy wearing them incorrectly, hence the big X.
