Hey all!
I have had my MMF-5's cartridge (formerly a goldring 1022gx) replaced for a clearaudio aurum beta S wood in an audio shop. I set up everything today and there is very present buzz. When I touch the arm with the tip of a finger (without music playing of course), the buzz goes stronger, and the more I touch it the bigger the buzz gets. With two fingers sitting on the arm, the buzz is as loud as someone talking. It is also present when the music is playing, but I can only notice it during quiet passages.
I quickly checked the connections at the back and there seems like everything is fine. Should I re-do all the connections at the back of the cartrdige, or the problem is somewhere else?
