How to get a sound like the singer is singing very close to your ear?

The sound like the singer is singing very closely to our ears even without increasing the volume.

Do we need more clarity? details? or something else in a headphone to get this?

Headphones with an emphasis on Midrange and preferably open I would say.

Midrange response or, actually, given most headphones tend to have a boost in the bass and some peak in the treble, that these aren't too high relative to the midrange.
 
It also depends on the recording - many recordings just have everything too flat on the same plane while some even if they didn't really figure in a lot of depth at least volume/gain-wise put emphasis on the vocals.
