How to clean SA-5000's ear pad?

Hi friends, i have been using my Sony MDR-Sa5000 for a year now and I am loving it. However one of the concern is the leather ear pad tends to capture heat within for prolong listening. That makes my ear area sweats and after sometimes, it smells like my shocks, poor SOny. Can anyone please tell me how to clean it?

I like to use neatsfoot oil to treat leather. Here's a place that sells it:

If you buy neatsfoot oil, be sure to get one that does not have petroleum distillates in it. Those hurt leather, and you would not want that in contact with your skin, either.
