Cardas/Black Dragon/Silver Dragon/etc cables start at around $200-$250, I'd take the new headphones with the proper termination, or just deal with the adapter, unless of course you can prove that 100 > 250

I was thinking of cutting the old plug off and installing a 3.5 mm plug on......i think that would cost a bit less? =)
