yup theyd be fine, theyre not uber revealing in my experience
I'm lovin running them out my mp3 player with V2, or V0 mp3s
nothing less than 192 sounds good imo so I havent tried any lower bitrates. and actually I haven't tried any 192 cbr either (only vbr-which sounds better in my boks)

if you're talking about crappy 128 kbps stuff, i'm pretty sure almost all headphones will reveal flaws in that category...
stuff you download off itunes/bittorrent/etc
should be fine as long as they are encoded with somewhat decent codec
