Just wondering about the longevity of these amps. I've owned three. Most not that long (upgradidus). I think the OTL version is just over a year old. I guess there isn't a whole lot that can go wrong with them, right?

I should have made that clear. No none of them went bad. They all worked flawlessly. I just sold them to try some different amps.

2 1/2 months. Prevously I owned the MG Head DT. No quality control problems with either unit whatsoever (can't help but wonder if Headroom's problems weren't largely due to abuses during transit).

Following my tube rolling and vinyl odyssey I'll probably send it to a new home after the re-acquisition of low impedance headphones.

But you always returned to the queen bee.

Hope you enjoy those tubes I set your way. They do make the Head sing!

I've had my OTL for about 6 months now. It's the new version, with the smooth pot and no mini headphone out.

BTW, it looks like our CT meet is not getting too much interest. Maybe we should bill it as a New York area meet, being held in Hartford CT! Then we'll get some turnout.
