Relax. Decades begin with the "one" year, not the "zero" year. So you are technically in your twenties until you are 31. If you don't believe me, take the coins out of your pocket and start counting. When you count the first coin, do you say "zero," or do you say "one?"

I was amazed at all the "new millenium" stupidity in 2000. The new millenium started in 2001. Of course, that's not conventient from a marketing perspective, so everyone got extra messed up on January 1, 2000. What was it that P.T. Barnum said?

Edit: Oh, yeah: I'm 47. You determine the age of a tree by analyzing the rings in the trunk. You determine the age of an audiophile by analyzing the ringing in his ears. Yeah, I'm definately 47.

Some of the 2000 stuff was Y2K with computers, which was a 2000 problem not 2001.

When I was a senior in HS, I worked in a middle school and a junior high. I used to get teachers asking me for a hall pass, or why I was in the hallway. I then proceeded to show them District ID badge, and they blushed and walked away.
