And the stuff is getting shipped from Germany yo the USA?
It might be the tax your state charges?

VAT is only applicable in the member states of the European Union.
If an item is shipped from Germany to USA, no VAT will be charged.
You might have to pay import duties, sales tax, etc. according to USA law.
