Hey guys,

Long-time lurker. Usually look on here for advice about headphones, but currently looking for some advice on buying at the moment. Lost my last pair of headphones, Etymotic HF5 :frowning2:, so now I am in the market for some new ones. I have been looking at the Heaven VI for quite some time, so figured I would bite the bullet and buy a pair. I usually purchase things from Amazon, but I am bit uneasy about this one. All the vendors are form Japan. They seem to have decent reveiws, but with the possibiltiy of getting fakes, I feel you can't be too careful. I heard geting them shipped directly from Japan was cheaper, but is this cheap enough to warrant a no-buy?

Would hate to shell out $300+ and not even get the real thing, so honest answers are appreciated :)

Thanks

Well, items sold by Amazon themselves are typically not a problem. Third party vendors that do their own shipping is always a risk that you have to kind of feel out on your own.

That being said, this is an Asian brand, right (I don't know the brand)? So ask in the Chinese/Asian brand thread where the best place to buy from is :)

If the number of reviews is high enough, then a + rating is probably a good sign for using that third party seller.

I have found that Amazon will come to your assistance if you can show you have been shipped a fake or a boot by a third party seller.
