How much money have you spent on headphones in total?

Ive spent about 800.00.now my wife has locked the wallet away!

Way too much by now. It's not even like I have a lot to show for it, it's a thing here or there...and some DIY parts and the value lost when getting rid of a can and moving on to a different one. In all I'd say $1000?, including DAP. But if I include DIY I'm up around $3k

I only have one "headphone"left now ,it costs me around $1600.if you wanna include those cans that i already sold,I suffered $400 losses so far.

my current system cost me around $5600++(including the laptop i bought,USB DAC,Digital amp ,still have yet to make up my mind on Interconnects,but I am very interested in acoutics zen silver reference II now).

I keep track of my head-fi spending in a spreadsheet, which I can pull out when I'm about to make a particularly insane purchase. Here is a graph of the net (i.e. taking into account money received for sold items) amount I've spent on purchases here:

That said, I've probably spent well over $2K so far since joining Head-Fi, including all the DIY madness and headphone purchases and repurchases. Right now I'm left with lots of DIY tools, a pair of UE-10 Pros, HD-580s, and Koss PortaPro IIs - it's really been a hemorraging journey. After I called HeadRoom to purchase the UE-10 Pros, I stopped counting for my mental stability.
