Yup. I've been spending at least that much a year...for several years. You're right! It's sort of a relief to be in the company of a group of sick folks...ermmm, ain't it???

And $2,500 has the lead!!...

...by a *frighteningly* large margin.

For a moment, though, I might have to question the idea of "spending." The type of buying I tend to do is a bit more like "renting" - I buy something, then usually sell it back within a month to hear something better.

So, er, if you count how much I currently have, it'd be at about $250. If you could how much I *have had* in the past couple months (through Head-Fi or eBay or...you get the idea) it'd be about $1000. I just happen to have the turnover rate of a New York hooker.

Damn! I just did a gut check to see how much I've spent so far:

NAD C 541i "B" Stock: $450
HeadRoom Cosmic (Reference Module): $880
Grado RS-1: $475
BPT BP-Jr. Ultra: $400
DiMarzio M-PATH: $115
HeadRoom Traveler Bag: $130
VibraPods: $48
Delphi SKYFi Tuner & Home / Car Adaptor Kits: $185
Sennheiser 19545 Pads: $27
XM Quarterly Subscriptions: $64
Redbook CDs / HDCDs: $250???
Sennheiser HD600: $285
Cardas Cable: $150

Grand Total: $3459??!!

I probably spent more in changing my system components!!

Yet, I am saving up $1150 for the Ah! Njoe Tjoeb 4000!!

I'm very close to 2k, and that is just within the last 12-14 months. Just waiting to get my source modded, and that will probably be it for a while.

TOO MUCH!!!!! I don't want to add up all the money I have spent, but it has been a lot. I guess as one caveat I have stopped spending and once I get my new system to me will stop upgrading and spending.

That's what I said when I got the RKV, but this time there is nowhere to go. The Big O is the only other stop and that is some odd 4 time sout of my price range. That is unless I hit the lottery.....

Even then it would be a Senn HE90 plus a Blue Hawaiian, not the Orpheus HEV90.

And if I ever get the KGSS down here along with those aforementioned Omegas I would be a lot more at ease. This waiting thing kinda sucks when your stuff sits a few thousand miles away collecting dust.

How much have i spent? Depends on how you look at it.

If you count money, probably somewhere around $500...

But, technically I have spent a lot more since I am now almost fully devoted to this alone... I have no time for life.
