At least 8-10 times. I used to love saying that whenever I could. Nice greeting for new people.

Now we'll have to see what will be our new greeting after everyone pitches in on the other thread we'll have to start a poll to see which one wins the in the vote count. I'll vote as long as the thread started doesn't live in Florida.

none. it was kinda fun the first time I ran into it while browsing the archives, but seeing it being repeated over and over again is pretty dumb.

none for me either. i find it to be very cliche and that kind of joke that really old guys tell young kids everytime they see them. then the old guy laughs a whole bunch and the kid's thinking "that wasn't even funny the first time.."

None, but I'm rather new as well. Actually, I think I just welcomed someone for the first time, but I didn't use the ol' catchphrase.

Those were pretty much my thoughts about it.

A few times... I find it's very true. Just look at my system!

I came here to learn about a funky pair of helicopter pilot headphones that I'd found in the basement, and thought Koss TD/70s were Hi-Fi, while I was perfectly happy listening to my Nomad Jukebox, 128kbit MP3s, using the stock Nomad Jukebox headphones (though I did find them a bit uncomfortable and lacking noise isolation, I didn't think really had any other options)

On the other hand, I've become a part of a really great community and made a few friends, not to mention gotten more involved in DIY/electronics than I ever would have otherwise.
