It took me about 8000 posts to "get a life" but, hey, you may be able to get a life with a post count smaller than that. I have known Head-Fiers who have claimed they have "got a life" @ less than 1000 posts

This screening test might help:

Answer YES or NO to the following questions:

1. Do you feel you are a normal Head-Fi user? (By normal we mean do you post less than or as much as most other people.)

2. Does your wife, husband, a parent, or other near relative ever worry or complain about your Head-Fi use?

3. Do you ever feel guilty about your Head-Fi use?

4. Do friends or relatives think you are a normal Head-Fi user?

5. Are you able to stop posting when you want to?

6. Have you ever attended a meeting of Head-Fi Anonymous (HFA)?

7. Has your posting ever created problems between you and your wife, husband, a parent or other near relative?

8. Have you ever gotten into trouble at work because of your Head-Fi use?

9. Have you ever neglected your obligations, your family, or your work for two or more days in a row because you were on Head-Fi?

10. Have you ever gone to anyone for help about your Head-Fi use?

11. Have you ever been to an audiologist because of your headphone use?

If you answered "yes" to even one of these questions, you may have a problem.

This has been a Public Service Announcement.
