As part of the "Headroom Little" post, the point about how many headphones are owned (not necessarily used) by everyone on Head-Fi was raised. I am curious to know if there is a relationship between the number of posts made and the number of headphones owned.

Only one pair of crappy Sony's at the moment (mdr-cd60 aka cheap $20 crap). Ordering Senn 280 Pro's later this week. Can't wait..I'll keep these as backups...

Must be contagious.

Maybe you two can share a room at the asylum. Just make some room for me.

haven't you ever considered selling the ones you don't need?

Actually, I have rid myself of one headphone, the Senn HD600. But I'm looking to replace it shortly. I can't seem to be able to get rid of anything........it's a definite illness.

I thought the HD600 was irrelevant to me until I paired it with the Equinox cables. Now it hangs next to my bed along with the Grado 325 and Sony F1...(with the EMP)

Don't give up on this phone yet, joelongwood!

I laughed after reading this. Today I was playing "Love and Theft"(I go see Dylan tomorrow night at MSG) and this reminds me of the line "Funny, how the things you have the hardest time parting with are the things you need the least" from "Lonesome Day Blues."

Of course, I have at least 13 or so and I know I need every single one. . . .

Who does?

While this is in no way scientific, it does seem the more posts you have the more headphones you have. Of course, who knows which comes first. Anyone?
