How many Grado grill type are there?

I have a pair SR-225's with no button and clear metal grills like the ones on MS-2's. The other day I walked by a music shop selling SR-225's but saw that it had black honey comb grills like ones on SR-125's. Also looking at Gradolabs website their picture of the SR-225 has black grills.Whats the correct grill that SR-225's come with? Since mine has no button I'm not sure what model Grado it is exactly.

My SR225s come with a silver grill, I thought they were all like that?

Early versions of the Grado Labs SR225 were fitted with blacked-out bright work. Current versions of the headphones have an unfinished metal screen. I do not believe that there have been any recent manufacturing changes.

. A black paintjob would make the grills look cooler than the silver. does the grill come off or is it attached to the cups?
