How Long Can You Go WIthout Your Headphones?

I usually work alone ...... so headphones are used to hear music and recorded dvd movie soundtracks , The whole movie !!!

I'm going to be without my HD600s for over a month in all likelyhood as I have no cable and the Cardas is on backorder at headroom. I didn't get my order in in-time to get it filled in the last batch they had that came in. That was a week or two ago and they get shipments from Cardas about once a month.

In the meantime there are K501s and Koss.

I made it three days. Maybe because I'm going for a hearing test on Tuesday. Years of motorcycles, gunfire, airplane engines and airtools have added a slight ringing to my ears. I asked my Doc if headphones are bad. He said no, as long as the volume isn't out of control. I really enjoy headphone listening.

I can't go more than a couple days without my senns. I am going out of country next week, and since I dont have a portable amp I am borrowing my friend's RA-1s for the trip. In exchange he gets to toy with my headmaster until I get back.
