Since Comply tips may sometimes be easier to get on than take off.
Look on your car care shelf at home and you may have something that you can soak a Q-tip in and insert into the center of the foam's plastic sleeve that will act as a sorta-slippery lubricant. (do not use WD-40). What I've used and works so far is:
Black Magic & Meguiars Tire Shine in the clear spray bottle.
Armor-All Interior and Dash-Board UV Protectant.
Pushing the tip on was easier and when your ready to take it off it makes it possible to slide it off w/o damaging the Foam.
You can use anything that you would use on the inside of your car that is Supposed to give it that "wet" look.
Most Car care products are Plastic and Rubber Safe, and will not harm the Rubber Cable or Plastic on the outside of the IEM, But actually add a coated layer of protection against UV Rays, Is Anti-Static (repels Dust), Prevents Fading & Cracking & Conditions the Rubber Cable and keeps it Shiny for Years of use.

If you do something like this, What have you been using.?.
