I just bought a 5g imod from ALO and am waiting for it to arrive. I would like to buy a good protective case for it. I know the yotank is a good choice but I was wondering how heavy it is. With the weight of the amp, imod and yotank, it does not seem too portable anymore.

I like the iSkin eVo case with my non-modded 5g/80, and I'm certain it would work with the iMod. The back and sides are a flexible material with a small amount of stretch, certainly enough to accomodate the sticker. I don't know whether the hole for the dock will be big enough as-is, but it is a soft material that can be cut easily with something like an X-Acto knife if you needed to make it larger.

Ditto on the iSkin eVo. I use the SE eVo³ and love it. It fits and protects better than earlier versions. My other half has the earlier eVo skin and sometimes the headphone jack gives connection problems since the skin is thicker there, but the newer versions have resolved that issue. The newer Claro model is neat if you have a video iPod as it allows it to stand up for viewing. Those weren't available when I got my iPod
