Hi I'm probably going to get a iphone 3g or 3gs and i have sure se210 and i was wondering if the audio quality is good on the 3g and the 3gs and is there a difference in the quality. I'm wondering about the music quality i have lossless files and listen to slacker radio.

That being said, the 3GS SQ is better than the 3G. With ALAC (or even iTunes Plus 256AACs) the 3GS is the cleanest, most-detailed DAP I have used (headphone out). If you do not need the phone functionality, the new iPod touches have great SQ too -- I would think they are using the same DAC as the 3GS or a close relative.

I think audio on the 3G is OK but not great; so I hope the 3GS is better.
