Hallo, I am new on this forum.

I have read a lot of very good threads on this forum. Many people here are writing very competently.

I have had al lot of hifi form Naim Audio, Musical Fidelity, Proac, Linn, EE Minimax to 47 Labs.
I listen to all music styles of music from Rock to classic. I would need a good allounder.

Now, I will buy a headphone amp with a very good headphone. I have a lot of experience and I think to most expensive item is not always the best one...

For me is the Decware CSP2 very interesting because I could use this headphone amp also as a preamp. (preamp function is not so important)

I think the JVC DX-1000 is a very good allrounder, or?

What is the perfect match for the Decware and what is the perfect match for the JVC?
Would you have an other advice?

Thank you very much

The Decware CSP-2 is a great amp. I wrote a review of it here:

I think it's an excellent amp, and I still enjoy it. Lots of great tube-rolling options, too. It does well with most headphones, and I think it sounds excellent with the DX1000. They are a terrific combination that I am sure you would enjoy. I periodically use them together, although I use the CSP-2 mostly with my Beyer DT880's, out of convenience, not because I necessarily prefer that combo.

I am no good in describing the sound. I listen alot to Johnny Cash, and I feel that the CSP2 has the power to drive the HD650`s so well that Cash`s dark voice really shines!
