Has anyone here had experience with both the M-Audio Transit and the M-Audio Audiophile USB? I'm talking strictly in terms of sound quality and not differences in features. For all I know, they may use similar or even identical op amps and chips. I'm trying to decide between the two, and am wondering which is the best one to go with.
Price difference aside, the Transit would meet my needs, feature-wise, but if the Audiophile sounds superior to the Transit and has a better sounding analog output signal, then I'll go with that. I just want to know if they really sound all that much different from each other.
And if you do think there are differences - good and bad - please describe what you think they are.
