I am listening to them at the moment, but will be getting the Matrix M stage when it arrives and want to know what the difference will be.

According to the nuforce udac website the udac can only output 16ohm, while the Sennheiser needs 300ohms? Will the difference be vast?

Not to be disrespectful but you are driving a well thought of and expensive headphone with a $100 DAC/Amp combo. I have listened to the HD800 and found its sound was very dependent on how good the source and the amp was, to me it sounded best out of the Luxman P1. Yes it is an expensive amp but then again it does provide some overall balance to the cans you are using. As an analogy I would not put a set of $50 dollar per tire on a Corvette. Perhaps you should attend a meet to listen to various amps and then make an informed decision, good luck.
