How do you mod the KSC-75?

Can someone write a simple How To in plain english for us noobs? Getting these cans tomorrow and want to get the most out of them with my new ipod mini. Also curious if the kind of music you listen to makes a difference on how you mod them. I listen to almost everything but focus most on rock, pop, jazz and soul and like a full sound with good bass but not so much that the vocal and other instruments are affected negatively. Thanks.
